Atomos Ninja Phone turns a compatible iPhone or iPad into a professional monitoring, recording and streaming display for an HDMI-equipped camera, converting video up to 4K30 into a USB 3.1 feed for the Mavis Camera workflow.

The compact aluminium co-processor accepts full-size HDMI from a DSLR or mirrorless camera and sends the processed feed over USB. Supported iPhone Pro models can record Apple ProRes variants, while H.265 and H.264 provide more storage-efficient options for other workflows.

NP-F battery support allows Ninja Phone to power the attached mobile device and accessories, making it practical for compact creator rigs where the phone becomes both display and connected production endpoint.

Compatibility

Mavis Camera requires a supported iPhone or iPad capable of running iOS 18 or later. ProRes recording availability depends on the mobile device. A compatible HDMI camera, mounting hardware and any required adaptors are also needed.
