Atomos Shogun Classic 7-inch HDR Monitor-Recorder-Switcher

Atomos Shogun Classic 7-inch HDR Monitor-Recorder-Switcher

Atomos Shogun Classic combines a 7.2-inch 3000-nit HDR display, HDMI 2.0, dual 12G-SDI and four-input HD-SDI switching in a portable monitor-recorder designed for cinema, event and multicamera field production.

The 1920 × 1200 IPS panel uses zone backlighting and 10-bit 8+2 FRC processing, while professional scopes, custom 3D LUTs and HDR tools support critical exposure and focus work. Compatible inputs can be recorded up to 4K60 in Apple ProRes or Avid DNx formats.

For multicamera production, Shogun Classic can switch four HD-SDI inputs and record four 1080p60 isolated feeds plus the program output. HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion also make it a useful bridge in mixed rigs.
