Atomos Shogun Classic 7-inch HDR Monitor-Recorder-Switcher

Shogun Classic combines a 7.2-inch 3000-nit HDR display, HDMI 2.0, dual 12G-SDI and four-input HD-SDI switching in a portable recorder designed for cinema, live production and multicamera field work.

The 1920 × 1200 IPS panel uses zone backlighting and covers up to 105% DCI-P3, giving operators a bright 10-bit monitoring surface for HDR and log workflows. It can record DCI/UHD 4K up to 60p and HD up to 120p via supported inputs, with Apple ProRes and Avid DNx codec families available.

For multicamera production, Shogun Classic can switch four HD-SDI inputs and record four isolated feeds plus the program output. HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion is supported, making it useful as both a recorder and a signal-conversion point in mixed rigs.

Compatibility
