Atomos TX gives camera crews a compact 5GHz wireless video transmitter for sending HDMI feeds up to 4K30 or 3G-SDI feeds up to 1080p60 to a compatible Atomos RX or Shinobi 7 RX without running a long video cable across the set.

The transmitter provides HDMI input with HDMI loop-through plus a 3G-SDI input, so the camera operator can retain a local wired monitor while the same feed is sent wirelessly. Nine selectable 5GHz channels, AES-128 encryption and approximately 60ms system latency are designed for practical monitoring rather than remote camera control.

Its aluminium body weighs 231g, mounts through a 1/4-inch-20 base thread and can run from common NP-F batteries, 9–16V DC or supported USB-C power.
