Atomos TX 4K/HD Wireless Video Monitoring Transmitter

The Atomos TX sends camera video wirelessly over the 5GHz band to compatible Atomos RX receivers, supporting HDMI input up to 4K30 and 3G-SDI input up to 1080p60 with a rated line-of-sight range of up to 300 metres.

Designed as the transmitter half of the Atomos TX-RX system, it accepts one HDMI input with HDMI loop-through plus one 3G-SDI input. A compact 128 × 64 status display and rotary channel control provide local setup, while nine selectable wireless channels help crews coordinate multiple systems on set.

The aluminium housing weighs 231g and can be powered from common NP-F550, NP-F750 or NP-F970 batteries, or from a 9–16V external supply. Atomos specifies approximately 60ms system latency under supported conditions.

Compatibility

TX requires a compatible Atomos RX receiver for wireless monitoring. Actual range depends on line of sight, RF congestion and the production environment. 4K wireless operation is supported over HDMI; the SDI path is limited to supported HD formats.
