The JOBY Compact Advanced Tripod is the higher-capacity model in the Compact range, pairing a 3kg payload with a traditional three-way head for photographers who want more deliberate control than a lightweight creator tripod provides.

The tripod extends to approximately 165cm and uses independent pan and tilt controls for careful composition in landscapes, portraits, product photography and video. Five-section aluminium legs keep the folded length to around 44cm, while the quick-release plate speeds up camera changes.

Its 3kg load rating makes it a better match for larger mirrorless bodies, DSLRs and heavier lenses than the 1.5kg Compact Action and Compact Light models.
