Each GorillaPod leg can be posed independently, using large articulated joints and high-friction grip surfaces to adapt to locations where a rigid mini tripod struggles. The Ultra revision adds a dual-locking quick-release platform compatible with most 38mm Arca-type plates plus a rotating cold shoe for a compact microphone, LED light or wireless receiver.
