For photographers who want a strap connection underneath the camera without the bulk of a full tripod plate, the Peak Design Anchor Mount creates an exceptionally low-profile attachment point.

The Anchor Mount screws into a standard 1/4"-20 camera tripod socket and lets a Peak Design strap—or a conventional neck or hand strap with a suitably narrow end—connect at the base of the camera. This positioning allows the camera to hang lens-down when one end of the strap is attached underneath, which can feel more stable with longer lenses.

Its compact machined-aluminium body is designed to sit close to the camera base and minimise interference with battery doors, grips and articulated screens. It is intentionally a strap mount rather than a tripod plate, so it is not compatible with Peak Design Capture or tripod quick-release systems.
