This Peak Design 20mm Ball Charging Adapter is built for custom vehicle mounting systems: it supplies the SlimLink™ magnetic charging head and a 20mm ball, while you choose the separate third-party socket arm and mounting base that suit the vehicle.

The non-locking head uses magnetic alignment rather than the push-button mechanical lock found on Peak Design motorcycle mounts. It is intended for enclosed-cabin vehicle installations such as cars, trucks, overlanding rigs and similar applications where a compatible 20mm socket arm can be positioned securely.

Wireless charging is integrated into the mounting head, and the kit includes the power cable and vehicle power adapter needed to connect it to a typical 12V accessory socket. Peak Design Mobile cases and MagSafe-compatible phones/cases can attach directly; use of the Peak Design Universal Adapter may reduce or prevent wireless charging depending on the phone and setup.
