Instead of wedging a simple spring clip onto one air-vent blade, the Peak Design Car Vent Mount uses a two-point clamping system and an articulated aluminium arm to create a much more stable phone position without permanently attaching anything to the dashboard.

The non-charging version is designed purely for mounting. Its SlimLink™ magnetic head holds compatible Peak Design cases and MagSafe phones/cases, while a 360-degree swivel arm moves the phone away from the vent so airflow can remain usable. A smooth ballhead then fine-tunes the viewing angle in portrait or landscape orientation.

Because vent geometry varies significantly between vehicles, fit matters. The mount is designed around secure straight horizontal or vertical blades and should not be treated as universally compatible with circular, deeply curved or fragile vent designs.
