The Peak Design Travel Tripod achieves its unusually small packed profile by eliminating the dead space between conventional round tripod legs, folding down to roughly the diameter of a water bottle while still reaching 152.4cm at full height.

Five-section legs deploy rapidly through low-profile aluminium cam locks, while the integrated compact ball head uses Peak Design's Arca-type Standard Plate and allows 360-degree panning. A built-in phone mount hides inside the centre column for mobile shooting without carrying another clamp.

Aluminium and Carbon Fibre versions share the same dimensions, height and 9.1kg load rating. The key difference is weight: approximately 1.56kg for Aluminium and 1.27kg for Carbon Fibre.
