The Peak Design Ultralight Conversion Kit removes the lower four sections from each Travel Tripod leg and replaces them with three compact foot plugs, turning the full-height tripod into a professional tabletop-height support at roughly half its original weight.

The conversion requires no tools: the lower leg sections slide out and the rugged plastic plugs install in their place. The shortened tripod can still deploy to approximately 57.2cm with the centre column raised, making it useful for backpacking, ground-level landscapes and situations where every gram matters.
