The Peak Design Universal Head Adapter lets you keep the Travel Tripod's unusually compact legs while replacing its integrated Compact Ball Head with a specialised third-party head for video, gimbal, panoramic or other advanced support work.

The adapter installs in place of the standard Peak Design ball head using the included hex wrench. A conventional tripod-head mounting interface then accepts compatible third-party heads, allowing the same Travel Tripod legs to support equipment that needs functionality beyond the integrated photographic ball head.

It works with both Aluminium and Carbon Fibre Peak Design Travel Tripods and can be installed with or without the centre column, giving photographers and filmmakers a choice between maximum height and the lowest possible head position.
